The aim of the „World Congress and Exhibition of Robots, Humanoids, Cyborgs, and more“ is to bring together people from all over the world who are interested in the various aspects of robotics.

Zurich will become the centre of humanoid robotics, presenting state-of-the-art projects and world firsts. One of them will be Roboy – this robot will be the very first prototype of a new generation of humanoid robots developed by the AI Lab Zurich.

An der Nacht der Technik treffen Besucherinnen und Besucher auf Schritt und Tritt auf aktuelle Forschungsprojekte und Experimente. Beim Rundgang durch den Campus sowie Labors der ZHAW School of Engineering können sie sich zum Beispiel ihren persönlichen ökologischen Fussabdruck berechnen lassen – und werden so auf ihren Energieverbrauch und die damit verbundenen Treibhausgasemissionen sensibilisiert.
